Peculiar artificial lemon aroma that gave me the impression that the people brewing this beer was trying to hard. Appearance was pale but misty. Taste was refreshing, but the finish was quite odd and left a strange taste to ponder, a little lemon and a little sweet. Overall I wouldn’t turn this beer down, but I wouldn’t drive to the Leine Lodge for it either.

Bottle. Cloudy yellow pour with a white head. Smells like pure lemon juice... taste is pretty much as advertised, lemonade and beer. Not really that good.

Bottle. Hazy yellow body, small white head, lemony nose. Lemonade with some beer off-flavors. Not good.

12 oz. brown bottle. Slightly cloudy pale yellow with a small white head. Smells like the old Blossom Time lemonade we used to get from the grocery store in a gallon jug. Tastes like the old Blossom Time lemonade we used to get from the grocery store in a gallon jug. Really good when you feel like a lemmonade. There is beer in it too...I think.

A good beer on a hot day. The lemony flavor can see overpowering, but that’s what you expect in a summer beer that’s billed as being made with lemons, right? Good for what it is.

The aroma is lemony with some corn malt and nothing else. The appearance is milky gold with a large head. The flavor is like the aroma with a lemon pine sol quality, ew! The palate is kind of thick for the style. I wanted to like it, it smells clean and fresh, but it didn’t taste right.

I fully expected to hate this, but I didn’t. I does smell lemony, as you would expect, but not fresh lemons. not artificial lemon either. It smells more like that lemon juice that comes in a little plastic lemon shaped dispenser. Anyway, the flavor is similiar - and surprisingly subtle. In fact, if anything, this ber wasn’t lemony enough. But it was refreshing and not cloying, and enjoyable enough to consider buying again.

12 oz bottle. Very pale yellow and cloudy with a fluffy white head. The aroma is very lemony and citrusy. The flavour is similar with a distinctive lemon rind character. A fairly wheaty body with a short crisp finish. It’s drinkable and refreshing but not really what I would normally reach for.
