Good for what it is, which is a summer beer. The lemon flavor adds to it quite nicely and it goes down very easily. Pretty much exactly what I’d expect from Leinenkugel. Worth picking up a sixer of it on a hot summer day.

Bottle to pint glass. This one was the scourge of our summer beer swap. I don’t like to slam on ratings, but sometimes I have to. This is one. Basically to me it tastes like bud light mixed with lemonade. Not a good start. Small head and spare lacing. Cloudy body. Light malt and citrus flavors. Light body and thin texture. Average carbonation. I would never buy this. If I was at a party, I would much rather just drink plain lemonade. They may as well make it NA also, as I couldn’t suffer through enough to get impared.

lemony but still clearly beer. clean and focused.
would be great with seafood for obvious reasons, or okay for outdoor refreshment on a summer day.

Pours out...well....like lemonade. Light white head and aroma of lemonade, cereal grains and corn. Tastes like a macro lager that is heavy on the adjuncts mixed with lemonade. I drank half and poured the rest. Blech.

It’s a beautiful hazy golden yellow in the glass. Reminds me of a hot summer day, visually. Not 100+ degree ’heatstroke’ kind of hot, but upper-80’s to mid-90’s. Where you’re just starting to see ’heat-lines’ in the air, if you look down the street. Creamy one-finger head dissipates fairly quickly. Decent lacing. Minimal retention. The smell is like effervescing lemons. If you had a pool filled with fresh lemons and they began giving off a wonderful bubbly gaseous mist, I think it would smell like this. For all intents and purposes this looks and smells like a glass of strong homemade lemonade. Taste is where it drops a little bit, for me. Granted, it is pretty much exactly what it claims to be. A well-done (American) Pale Wheat with lemonade blended in. The lemon seems to be a bit too dominant, though. While I do detect a tiny hint of yeastiness in there, the beer flavor is all but buried. It feels a bit wrong to me, also. It’s thin, which I would normally like, in this style. The problem is that there seems to be to many bubbles (overcarbonation). Makes for an odd mouthfeel. After what I’ve just said about it, I’m surprised to say that I still find this to be a good, easy-drinking, refreshing summer brew. On a nice hot day, this would definitely do the trick.

the aroma is very lemony. the colour is solid for a wheat beer; looks great. the head pours tall for a summer brew, and the finish is not what one might expect. i i tend to like Leiney’s but this one made me think some one topped my Hoegarden with the Minute maid.

12oz bottle. Poured a hazy pale yellow with a fluffy white head. Very strong lemony citrus aroma. Has a milder lemon flavor with wheat, light malt and a slight hop bitterness towards the finish. A light well carbonated body that ends dry.

Draft: Poured a hazy dark yellow with an aroma of lemons and wheat. The flavor was SUPER lemons with a hint of wheat. Overall, way too sweet and lemony for me.
