Cavie (1317), Fort Worth, Texas, USA Mar 4, 2009 Not a fan of wheat. Never really liked the aftertaste of this, however I’ve never tried it with an orange slice..... jamvin23 (162), chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 2, 2009 Bottle. Hazy, golden with an off-white head. Aroma: Spicy, fruity and Malty. Flavor: sweet with malt and citrus fruit. BellsFan (47), Michigan, USA Feb 28, 2009 This is my favorite Leinenkugel’s beer. Light brown with small/medium head. Kind of fruity but there’s something about it that makes me buy more. This is the beer I buy when I’m not buying the $12 six packs or $15 cases. dwaggs2 (531), Lee’s Summit, Missouri, USA Feb 28, 2009 Bottle. Little yellow pour no head. Aroma is wheat, yeast and citrus. Taste is wheat, citrus and lemon. Very clean and crisp. You can drink a lot of these. Barreras (121), Diamond Bar, California, USA Feb 26, 2009 A golden orange color with a very citrusy smell and taste. A nice wheat beer for drinking on a hot afternoon day. Mutualaid (136), Texas, USA Feb 26, 2009 Pours a nice hazy golden, with a billowing white head. Huge aromas of straw, melon, and chamomile. Big fruity taste with a bit of astringency and a very clean finish. Medium body. Its kind of one-dimensional and I’m not sure how this hits the style, but certainly decent beer for sitting around the front porch with the compadres. mweber962000 (70), Illinois, USA Feb 21, 2009 wow this beer is fruitier than most kids sugar laced cereal. fruity pebbles come to mind. my daughter eats just the marshmellows in lucky charms and this is even fruitier than that. not my cup of tea but i can see the appeal i guess if its your thing is fruity. REDBOSOX (70), Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts, USA Feb 20, 2009 Citrusy wheat beer that I didn’t like on the first sip. Had a funky aftertaste to me at first. After that, it seemed to go down a lot smoother. Not bad but I’ve had better.
