jbuzz (658), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Aug 25, 2008 A good Basic Wheat. spicey hints with a bit of Orange that lingers pretty refreashing. TapMaster (16), , California, USA Aug 23, 2008 Orange color and flavor of oranges sweet Tastes a bit like sparkling wine or cider, buy it for the ladies, expensive in California, GMUcrew7 (353), Mason, Ohio, USA Aug 23, 2008 Pours very cloudy apricot color with an off white head. Aroma is spiced wheat, the coriander is very noticeable and a hint of orange. The flavor is similar, well spiced, and the orange is a little stronger (too strong for my liking). Not really what I look for in a wheat, but not a bad beer. Jarrid (20), Hot Springs, Arkansas, USA Aug 23, 2008 I was recommended by my favorite beer store in town to give it a try because I told them I was looking for something a little different. Well, I was not very disappointed. The aroma is sweet and wonderful. When I first take a drink, I get very strong citrus flavor, and I absolutely love it. Everything down until the aftertaste is nice. The appearance was not that spectacular, but overall, it was well worth buying a six-pack. I say if you have it in your area to try out, you should go ahead and give it a shot. I am looking forward to trying more of Leinenkugel’s beers. Lubiere (4463), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada Aug 22, 2008 A hazy golden ale with a thin white head. Strong aroma of orange Tang. In mouth, a good malt and wheat backbone with an off putting artificial orange taste. Medium bodied. Bought at CJs Potsdam, 1.40$. fata2683 (836), Panama City, Florida, USA Aug 21, 2008 I had this the other day for a BBQ, and it was a good choice. Very refreshing in the realm of a Hoegaarden with more body. Has a nice wheat flavor that stays until the next sip. AndyReynolds (280), Wilder, Kentucky, USA Aug 20, 2008 Updated: Mar 28, 200912 oz bottle. The pour was a hazy golden-orange with an inch thick white head. The aroma is strong with citrus, oranges really stands out. There is a slight hint og grass or wheat, but the oranges really overwhelm the aroma. Taste was really refreshing and sweet with citrus standing out. Wheat comes out in the finish and lingers in the after-taste. This is an everyday drinker for the hotter months. sleestak (180), Williamston, Michigan, USA Aug 19, 2008 On tap. The pour was a lovely hazy yellow-gold with a sudsy white head. Nose was grassy and citrusy. Taste is over-the-top sweet orange - the Valencia wedge they served on the side was tart by comparison - with little in the way of bitterness. Taste was initially refreshing, but turned fairly cloying by the end. Watery mouthfeel. Really a decent summer beer, but pales in comparison to the more complex hefes and wits.
