Nose was grassy and citrusy. Taste is over-the-top sweet orange - the Valencia wedge they served on the side was tart by comparison - with little in the way of bitterness. Taste was initially refreshing, but turned fairly cloying by the end. Watery mouthfeel. Really a decent summer beer, but pales in comparison to the more complex hefes and wits. Soapy oragne in the nose and flavor. Fairly boring and uninspiring. Give it a miss. BillKismet (1903), Seattle, Washington, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Aug 17, 2008 Gorgeous sunset tan pint with a pleasing, full head. Telltale aromas of wheat, orange, and coriander immediately blossom in the nose. Medium-bodied with a refreshing, spritely taste of wheat and orange and coriander. Definitely in the top five percentile for the strength of the orange citrusy notes. Definitely hits the spot on a hot summer day. Deserves a much higher spot in the ratings. | 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2008 7/12/08 on draught at the Whistle Stop Alehouse, Renton, Wa. Aroma is citrusy, with berry notes and a light sourness. Pours a hazy yellow orange wth a medium maintained white head. Flavor is very orange citrusy with a sweet starchiness and low bittering. The mouthfeel has a spritzy biting carb texture with medium body. Overall, it’s fairly refreshing, but the orange citrus is too strong to have more than one. thejoeshow (232), Saint Paul, Minnesota, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Aug 12, 2008 12 oz bottle. Pours a little more orangey than most wit beers. It’s a cloudy pale orange/gold/yellow color with a nice white head full of tiny, tightly packed bubbles. The only thing I can think of when I smell this beer is Fruity Pebbles. Exactly like Fruity Pebbles. Flavor is almost exactly the same as the aroma. It’s a perfect clone of Fruity Pebbles. There is a bit of bitterness at the end and it finishes a touch dry but man! Fruity Pebbles! Beer2000 (1780), Kristiansand, Norway
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 12, 2008 On tap. Cloudy orange body with a thin off-white head. Aroma is spicy, fruity, oranges and a bit wheat yeasty. Flavor is sweetish fruity, orange, some banana and lemon candy. Could be a lot more beer here, but its really a refreshing treat.
