The aroma was very fruity. I caught citrusy notes and maybe some bubble gum notes as well. Very pleasing by the aroma. No hop aroma.
The flavor of this beer is predominantly fruity. As others have mentioned it has a fruity pebbles flavor. I didn’t necessarily think of fruity pebbles but I did think of orange, lemon and raspberry. My opinion is that the fruit is a little over the top for a wheat beer, without being advertised as a fruit beer. The fruitiness seems genuine to me, I do not think it seems fake at all. No hops or bitterness to be found in this beer, it is sweet but not cloying, an enjoyable sweetness.
This is an excellent summer beer as it is not over the top but provides some complexity and something different. coopermrkn (26), Minnesota, USA

It had a citrus aroma to it. Kind of an orange-lemon-lime aroma. Might not be too bad on a hot summer day. | 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Jun 15, 2008 Hazy orange pour with a fizzy white head. Aroma of fruit and really nothing else. Sweet fake fruit flavor, similar to fruity pebbles cereal. Where’s the wheat? Where’s the yeast? Not good. leninthedesert (112), Nevada, USA

| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 14, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at a random gas station in Davis, CA. Holy shit, the aroma on this is huge bubble gum and huge cotton candy. Amazingly sweet with some lemon. Doesn’t really smell like beer. Mostly hazy orange-honey colored body with a medium white head. Starts with some sour orange juice flavor. Tart, lightly astringent. More fruitiness in the middle. Very bubble-gummy late. Tastes a lot like bug spray. For me, this would be pretty good WITHOUT the cilantro. What a distraction! I grew up in the north woods, and I’ve never found citrus spices at sunset there! You’d think a brewer in Minnesota would know that!
Or, maybe, that’s just what I get by halving 50 years of experience BEFORE learning to enjoy beer.
