wxwizard (1), Amesbury, Massachusetts, USA does not count Jun 4, 2008 Had this beer for the first time after great day of skiing. I gotta tell ya this completed the perfect ski day. The beer is crisp and flavorful. The orange is impossible to miss and the coriander a bit more subtle. But even with all this refreshing flavor the beer is still very balanced yet light and down right enjoyable. There are NO second thoughts on order another. This beer is THAT good. Beads77 (2), USA does not count Jun 3, 2008 First had this at Shucker’s in Baltimore during my recent trip to see the Red Sox play the Orioles. Girlfriend ordered it while i ordered the Fordham. I enjoyed the several sips of this beer, and the aroma and taste of orange and corriander spice was a welcomed surprise to the long hot day. Would imagine it would go nice with a burger during a good summer cookout. I would reccomend to drinkers that like to try different beer flavors/aromas. it’s a hard one to say you won’t like or you will like, since evryone has different tastes. Mine was served in your standard bar shaker/pint glass. I would advise ’leading’ with your tongue tip to get the full flavor of this beverage. CptWenis (5), Eugene, Oregon, USA does not count Jun 2, 2008 A good beer for just relaxing on a nice summer evening. Smells is sweet with some spice to it, hints of lemon, orange, and ginger. Appears golden yellow/orange, unclear, a very thin white head. Tastes of citrus, a bit sweet, and wheat. elihapa (1033), Honolulu, California, USA Jun 2, 2008 3/14/08 notes: on tap, Nikitas. Color is opaque orange creamsicle. Tastes and smells like an artificially flavored fruit candy. Way too sweet, and no real characteristics of wheat ales are allowed to come out. Will not have again. JackTHorn (4), Colorado Springs, Colorado, USA does not count May 31, 2008 My favorite Leinenkugel beer yet. A somewhat cloudy golden beer, with a sweetish aroma that’s almost overpowering but not quite. A fruity sort of taste behind the wheat, but nothing like the Berry Weiss because this fruit taste is much more subtle, and seems to come from the hops or the yeast instead of from some sweet fruit juice added. One of my favorite summer beers. theslats (6), Idaho Falls, Idaho, USA does not count May 30, 2008 Nice pour with a good fluffy head. Easy drinking beer. Good if you need a refreshing spring or summer brew. Great beer to introduce hard lemonade drinkers to craft beer. JonR888710 (999), Cochabamba, Bolivia May 28, 2008 Had this on tap at the St. Patrick’s day festival in Savannah, GA down on the river. I’d never heard of this brewery before in the Greater Washington, DC area, but apparently they had a distribution network in the South (saw it at a Harris Teeter in Charlotte). Pours a cloudy golden color with a svelte, seemingly whipped, white head. Smells very sweet, caster sugar. Taste is cotton candy. Nothing else to really say, just a very sweet, creamy, cotton candy beer. I had just eaten a turkey leg so this was a fine dessert beer. Otherwise it would have been too sweet. VTHopHead (895), Barre, Vermont, USA May 26, 2008 Draft at the Great Lost Bear in Portland - Poured a cloudy yellow in color with a medium foamy white head. Aroma is of citrus/oranges and spices (coriander?). Flavor pretty much matched the aroma. More than slightly sweet; a disappointment. A bit too "unbeer-like" for me...
