Leinenkugels Sunset Wheat

12oz bottle: Sweet citrus aroma. Cloudy, dull orange color...wheat particles galore. Softlty carbonated on the palate. Coriander is very evident in the initial taste, finishes a little grassy. Not bad. Stay away if you don’t like your wheat beer with a distinct fruit taste.

This is not a purist’s beer, but If you want to experience some variations and experimental beer, I am sure you will love this. I could really see myself drinking this on a cool summer evening. It’s a bit wholesome, but just enough to make you feel like you are drinking something important.

Pours a yellow/orange color. Smells like orange liquorice and tastes like someone added orange liquorice syrup after the beer was finished. Their marketing people must be really good. Next time I would just prefer orange juice.

They claim it tastes like a sunset in a bottle. In my opinion, it tastes like orange alka-seltzer.

AWFUL, wait A W F UL! Its like a fuzzy orange drink, with a terrible aftertaste. I mean horrible I need to pour the rest of this done the drain before I get ill. It does smell pleasant.

WOW! I was highly impressed with this brew. The morning I bought it my first thought was"MAN I MISS WISCONSIN!". This beer put a smile on my face.

Very pleasant flavor. Extremely unique beer tasting more like a orange/juice/wine cooler more than a beer. Probably one of my favorite wheat’s. The Agave wheat from Breckenridge brewery is more true to a wheat beer than this orange juice tasting concoction. Overall not a bad choice. Would not go out of my way to track it down though.

Bottle. Pours a golden with a small head. Aroma of lime, wheat, and lemon. An actually pleasant sweetness to this one, which I must admit I was shocked about. I *could* drink this beer and enjoy it.
