wmubronco1992 (176), Coldwater, Michigan, USA Mar 23, 2008 Draft - Cloudy honey color. Very small white head. No real lacing. Had a bottle of this previously, but this was first time out of the tap. Very mellow with plenty of orange flavor. Smooth very pleasant beer. Not going to compete with the better micro wheat beers, but for a mass produced brew this is pretty good. Snojerk321 (1917), San Diego, California, USA Mar 23, 2008 On draft @ the Peoria sports complex in AZ. By far the best beer I’ve had from these guys so far. Nose was very fruity with lemon and apricot. Very refreshing, the best beer I had all weekend. daknole (2805), Plantation, Florida, USA Mar 23, 2008 I had this tonight from the bottle and it wasnt too bad. Tastes like what Blue Moon wishes it was. It is does have some pretty strong orange flavor and I think I could taste some coriander. A bit too sweet, but decent. FishManLA (284), Abita Springs, Louisiana, USA Mar 22, 2008 Updated: Apr 3, 2008Citrus, orange to be specific, is the overwhelmingly dominant component in both the nose and the flavor. The stuff even LOOKS like orange juice! Color is, well. "sunset" orange and cloudy. Head is of medium size and yellow/white and dissipates quickly. This beer tastes SO MUCH like orange it actually puts one more in mind of a "malt beverage" (like Mike’s Hard Lemonade) then a beer. Not necessarily a bad thing, when you’re in the mood for something fruity... MrRomero (1934), Nolanville, Texas, USA Mar 19, 2008 23 oz draft. poured cloudy butterscotch yellow with a medium sized off white head. Served without orange by request. Aroma was of orange and coriander. So much orange that I could swear they stuck an orange in their and then took it out before I could notice. The flavor was pretty spicy with coriander and citrus notes. Finished a little dry and lots of carbonation. I would swear that they added something more than wheat, yeast, hops, coriander, and water. Pretty decent and quite refreshing. clong83 (243), San Diego, California, USA Mar 18, 2008 Very fruity! Seems a little overcarbonated to me. A tad thin on the palate, but by no means bad. I really couldn’t tell what kind of malts were used due to the overwhelming flavor of orange. Very sweet. Refreshing and tasty, though, in its own rite. A good "lawn-mowing" beer for sure. jcr (1136), Jasper, Indiana, USA Mar 18, 2008 Bottle. A spiced citrus spritzer in a beer bottle. Coriander. A little orange. Coriander. Some citrus. Coriander. Hazy, dark yellow body with a white head that disappears. The aroma has some malts in it in the form of toasted grain, but the dominant scent is coriander and orange peel. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. Light body and watery texture. Lots of carbonation. What this beer has going for it is that it is a thirst-quencher with coriander flavoring. pschorrman (1), Boulder City, Nevada, USA does not count Mar 17, 2008 This beer is truly a God sent. It has a flavour unlike any other wheat beer. Much better overall flavor, aroma, and palate then any other in its class, especially the crappy Colorado sunset wheat. Some of the flavor has to do with the great artesian spring water that comes from Wisconsin’s pure springs. (Wisconsin rated #1 in the country last year for the purest spring water in America). I, being a Wisconsin native, have turned many people on to this beer here in Nevada. I suggest you’s try Leininkugel’s Northwoods Lager!
