Very much enjoyed this beer. Blue Moon tastes like a watered down version of this Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat. You almost don’t need the Orange to get the explosion of Citrus and Coriander. Best description I heard? Fruity Pebbles. OR Blueberries...but I called the brewery, NO BLUEBERRIES!

A very under appreciated beer, it’s a solid wheat beer with a fair amount of orange flavor to it. However, the regrettable tendency of bartenders to add a slice of orange to it (as recommended by Leinenkugel themselves) does not help. Drink without fruit, or with a squeeze of lemon if the wheat flavoring is not to your taste. This is not a particularly good bottled beer, as those tend to taste more fruity than the version on tap. Stick with the draft and you won’t be disappointed.

Tastes and smells just like Fruity Pebbles cereal. Very easy to drink, tastes very much like fake orange. Better on tap

Hazy orange taste with obvious coriander and maybe a touch of peach and ginger abounding. It started off quite nice but ended on a rather mediocre note. There is nothing unpleasant here though. Easy session beer.

12oz. Hazy orange. This beer has some spice and other flavor going on, but it tastes like fruit loops more than anything else. Extremely sweet with serious carbonation, this is a wine cooler alternative.

On tap at Chili’s – a local rep was offering a free glass with pint purchase for 3 bucks so I bit. Well, I bought a decent looking glass for 3 bucks and didn’t finish the beer. Beer was a cloudy orange color with a fizzy head that recedes to a slight film. Aroma is REALLY orangey with a bit of coriander. Flavor had a weird manufactured orange flavor like tang. I’m still reliving that weird taste an hour later. Not good at all.

pours a cloudy golden color with a white head. aroma is strong fruitiness, very sweet with a small amount of citrus. taste is also very sweet and fruity, almost to a fruit punch level. again there is a small taste of lemony citrus. lemondrops. mid-light body with a normal carbonation. finish leaves a bit of the lemony sweet flavor on the tongue. this one is just too sweet for me, though it is more interesting than a plain old lager. if you like sweet, this might make a good session brew.

Leinenkugel’s Sunset Wheat Is a great beer for the summertime and it has a unique balance of flavors
