MeisterBrew (138), Cheyenne, Wyoming, USA Jun 25, 2009 Bottle. Pours a cloudy golden-amber with a small white head. Aroma of wheat, sweet fruit, and a hint of citrus. Flavor is that of Fruity Pebbles, wheat, and a hint of lemon. As much as I didn’t think I would care for this beer, I was pleasantly surprised. It was very tasty and hit the spot on a hot sunny afternoon. Better than Blue Moon for sure.... kddewees (33), Muncie, Indiana, USA Jun 22, 2009 Fruity flavor similar to Fruit Loops. A smooth beer good for casual drinking. One of my favorite beers out there. bitbucket (2024), Kirkland, Washington, USA Jun 14, 2009 According to the Commercial Description, this beer is brewed with "malted wheat, Cluster hops and natural coriander." According to the picture there seem to be some oranges involved. According to my taste buds, there is a bunch of sugar and fruit in here. Maybe Fruit Loops and blueberries? WTF? matthasson (59), Pennsylvania, USA Jun 11, 2009 Updated: Jun 15, 2009Fruit Loops beer is not for me. There is too much fruity sweetness that makes me cringe and not want anymore. Makes me question if its even beer I’m drinking. Magicdave6 (5383), London, Greater London, England Jun 11, 2009 Bottle at home thanks to the bopsses. Alround rating: Big serbert character, lemon and orange spitzery over carb hard to drink. Ended up throwing half of it away. No beer character. milljam (562), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Jun 10, 2009 I will say that I have enjoyed this in the past on tap in Northern Wisconsin. This however, before I found good beers. I will say that although the aroma is lacking, the coriander adds a nice touch to the beer. However, after a while it tastes pretty much like liquid Froot Loops... derkaiser (24), Ohio, USA Jun 3, 2009 Possibly my choice of the domestic wheat beers. Its a okay beer to grab at a happy hour or something. BlackForestCO (819), Fort Collins, Colorado, USA May 26, 2009 Bottle. Poured a lightly hazy orange color with a moderate white head that faded to a layer. Sweet aroma with hints of fruit (mainly sweet citrus, like orange flesh) and a light spiciness (coriander). Smooth, sweet entry with noticeable fruit right away (orange flesh, almost an artificial berry) carries into the middle with some faint wheat notes and a light coriander spice that follows into a bit of a watery finish. Moderate carbonation and average mouth feel, although it does end thin. Overall, an overly-sweet wheat beer that tends to distract from the point of the beer: the wheat.
