| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Jun 28, 2006 Pale, light straw yella, hazed appearance, with a snowy white head that drifts down to a slight sheet, then a faint ring.
Aroma, bright lemon and orange zest, with light spices on the side. Immediately feels just right for a witbier nose. Clean, zippy, fruity, creamy citrus with commanding coriander.
Big lemon on the tongue, meringue pie, creamy and fruity, but without much substance below. Fills the mouth, but without much beyond lemon, then softly slips away. Way too much lemon in this, not even enough orange, and the spice has disappeared in the flavor. Apes the wit in aroma and looks, but chokes when it comes to the actual taste of it.
too thin in body in the end, just a vapor of character. Finish diminishes behind a whisper of lemon.
Drinkability misses, too, bases on the too- pointed presence of lemon, against anything else. I guess I’d drink it if I had to, but they could have done better, could have tried harder. Kinz (2205), Glen Allen, Virginia, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 26, 2006 Thanks to the in-laws for this one. Much more of a wit than an American Wheat. Heck, let’s face it, this is a wit. Even the pic in the ad has oranges and coriander seed in it. That + wheat = wit. Hazy gold, OK head. Aroma of oranges and coriander. Flavor matched, along with some rough wheat notes. A bit sweet, not particularly smooth, but not horrible. DYCSoccer17 (2192), Davis, California, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 14, 2008 12 ounce bottle purchased at a random gas station in Davis, CA. Holy shit, the aroma on this is huge bubble gum and huge cotton candy. Amazingly sweet with some lemon. Doesn’t really smell like beer. Mostly hazy orange-honey colored body with a medium white head. Starts with some sour orange juice flavor. Tart, lightly astringent. More fruitiness in the middle. Very bubble-gummy late. Tastes a lot like bug spray. NYHarvey (2154), New York, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Oct 5, 2006 Updated: Oct 15, 2006New in town. Got a six pack at Albertsons. The aroma invokes a picturesque stroll through an Orange Grove. The sweet yet subtle scent of Orange Blossoms lingers in the air and you imagine you can even smell a bit of the bitter notes of orange peel and snapped citrus branches. Then you step on the skunk lurking below your feet and he sprays you with his own special social retardant. So to recap: oranges, orange blossoms, citrus branch and nasty skunk musk. The body is a hazy pale yellow the color of a sick canary and holds a diminishing pinky sized white head. The flavor offers sweetened cereal grains in the fore reminiscent of the sugary milk slop you’d gulp down after finishing your Sweetum Smacks as fuel for a vigorous Saturday morning of cartoon watching. Some orange dreamsicle notes appear bursting with artificial orange and cream. The effect is very manufactured in that the flavors seem chemically induced through additives rather than from the brewing process. But, I guess brewing is chemistry. I’m not saying the sweetness IS artificial it very well may not be...but it does TASTE artificial. It’s not awful, but it is sickly sweet and rather reminds me of some poorly made fruit beers with its sweet intensity. blutt59 (2114), Dallas, Texas, USA

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 11/20 | Sep 23, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yellowish-white body with a soapy white head. Aroma consists of some blueberries, fruit loops, and bread.
Very fruity flavour and kind of berry-like tartness. Sharp, refreshing spritzy palate. It’s not too bad. jsquire (2107), St. Marys, Ohio, USA
| 2.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 2/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Sep 6, 2006 Honey golden color with a thin white head. Smells like candy and corriander. Initial taste reminded me of the Smarties sugar candy. It just tasted like candy to me, with some corriander. Almost like orange Kool-Aid powder. Too sweet with not enough beer in it for me. zach8270 (2103), Henrietta, New York, USA
| 2.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Sep 1, 2007 (bottle - 12 oz) Slightly cloudy yellow pour with a puffy white head. Aroma is very fruity, surprisingly so for a wheat beer, with lots of fruit and only a little bit of wheat. Flavor is exactly the same. Lots of blueberries, cherries, and some notes of fruitcake. and a slightly dry finish of wheat and grains. Very odd beer.
