I bought a six of this while visiting my daughter at WVU for parents weekend ’06’. I had the last 2 bottles the next day at end of summer block party. Perfect summer beer. Light body with citrus and raspberry flavor. Went down fast and easy. I enjoyed them.

Overall Impression: I’m not going to apologize for liking this one. Its a nice, tasty, enjoyable summer wheat. Nice body to it, but still easy drinking. A really nice example of a style that I don’t usually find myself loving. Great for a hot summer days by the pool or the grill. I know its chic to dismiss this one, but I don’t agree, in fact, I’ve got it just below Gumballhead on my list of best wheat ales I’ve tried.

Draft at Citizens Bank Park. Cloudy yellow, with a thick white head. Powerful aroma of lemon, berry, flowers, and yeast. Perhaps the most powerful aroma i have encountered in a beer, i could smell it from several feet away. Sweet wheat flavor, with a bit of lemon and spice. Light and refreshing, and a good option to have at the ballpark when I’m not in the mood for a Hopdevil. I don’t think my opinion of the beer was affected by the fact that the Phils were actually winning.

super strong banana/orange aroma. smells really really artificial. demitriustown’s suggestion of pushup ice cream is pretty accurate. too sweet in flavor.

Coudy beer with a golden tinge. Aromas are orange and clove, a bit thin. However, on tasting, this beer could easily be classified in the fruit beer category. Strong orange, honey, clove and coriander gflavors. Dry, wheaty finish, but otherwise extremely sweet and somewhat cloying.

Had this on tap at the St. Patrick’s day festival in Savannah, GA down on the river. I’d never heard of this brewery before in the Greater Washington, DC area, but apparently they had a distribution network in the South (saw it at a Harris Teeter in Charlotte). Pours a cloudy golden color with a svelte, seemingly whipped, white head. Smells very sweet, caster sugar. Taste is cotton candy. Nothing else to really say, just a very sweet, creamy, cotton candy beer. I had just eaten a turkey leg so this was a fine dessert beer. Otherwise it would have been too sweet.

Hazy orange pour with thick white head. Lemoon aroma with a spice wheat appeal. Taste matched the aroma, the body was decent. Overall Not a bad Wheat beer.
