Very refreshing in the realm of a Hoegaarden with more body. Has a nice wheat flavor that stays until the next sip. GodOfThunder (874), Orlando, Florida, USA

It tastes like Fruity Pebbles. It isn’t bad for a summer, lawnmower, beer, but it could be a little too sweet for some. GMCC2181 (865), Bear/Elkton, Delaware, USA

Not much head but had a good flavor and orange-ish after taste. Good summer time beer. sheatripper (863), Brooklyn, New York, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jan 21, 2007 Updated: Jan 22, 2007Bottle. Cloudy amber with a thin off-white head. Smells like lemon and orange flavored PEZ, Flinstones vitamins or some kind of commercial cake frosting of the same citrus flavors. Seems there’s a weird artificial flavor thing going on here, which is not to say that chemical flavors are being used, but rather that the producer, instead of making a standard American wheat beer with subtle lemony notes, is forcing and extruding orange peel into the brew to actually make an orange flavored beer. Coriander notes are barely perceptible. Strangely interesting concoction for sure. I’m not implying that its "girlie", but it’s orangey flavor and relatively smooth palate might make it a nice beer to introduce to female guests at a summer party who’d otherwise reach for a crap-o-lager. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | May 11, 2006 Hazy, golden yellow color. Looks and smells like pineapple juice. Also smell of flowers and kool-aid. Tastes sweet and some grain. Little bitter at the end. Its actually really good. It tastes like blue moon ice cream. Good beer for the lady in your life. kimcgolf (832), Dacula, Georgia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 1/5 | 10/20 | Dec 31, 2006 Poured from the tap to a carbonanted golden color with hint of orange, true to it’s "sunset" name. Had a medium white head that lingered shortly and left okay lacing. Aroma was very strong of orange and apricot, with a hint of wheat. While this was pleasing at first, it became too much throughout the beer. Flavor followed suit. The initial taste was pleasant citrus, but very quickly became a mixture of kid’s cereals, popsicles, and a taste that reminded me of children’s liquid antibiotics I had years ago. Finish was a super-sweet aftertaste that was did not remind me of having a beer at all.
This beer started out promising, but turned to disappointment quickly. mansquito (830), Boston/Philadelphia, USA
| 1.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 1/5 | 2/10 | 3/5 | 5/20 | Oct 29, 2006 I don’t know how this beer sustains such a high rating. I purchased it with high expectations, but the moment that I began drinking, the taste of apricots (or maybe pine needles as someone said before) overwhelmed my poor mouth. The beer seemed to be almost flat the moment that I poured it and the color was also rather unappetising. I tried to finish this beer as fast as possible in order to move onto a better beer. Maybe this is just not my style, I don’t know. msante79 (830), Orland Hills, Illinois, USA

Flavor is moostly weat with citrus and a little hops. A nice smooth refreshing drink for hot day which is exactly what this beer was made for.
