| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Aug 5, 2007 Pours a cloudy golden. Definite aroma of hops. Whoa! I hadn’t expected that overwhelming fruity flavor - like oranges or something. Creamy in the mouth but the citrus flavor was quite remarkable. A strangely likeable beer but you really have to like citrus to enjoy it. BeerBunker (616), Burbank, Illinois, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Pours a nice orange color with a quickly diminishing white head. Very heavy on the carbonation. Aroma of citrus, wheat, and Fruity Pebbles. Taste is big on sweet fruit with wheat behind it. Very light mouthfeel makes this one easy to drink. Simply a light beer for a hot day. Drinking it in November doesn’t give you the same effect. Wakie (612), Centreville, Virginia, USA
| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/20 | Jan 8, 2007 Ok, so I don’t know exactly how to explain this beer. Heavy orangish-grape flavor. Shockingly different and at first was nice. About half way through though I realized it was turning my stomach. I like experimentation but this one was a bad idea. | 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Dec 4, 2006 This is the first offering I’ve had from this storied Mid Western brewer. And I could describe it in just one word. Boring. It poured a hazy orange, with a thick white head. Lots of orange on the nose. Thin fizzy mouthfeel. LOTS of orange on the tongue, with hints of lemon and wheat. But the flavor of the beer disapears after a few sips. After that it just doesn’t taste like anything. I poured this one out. It was just a total waste of my time. I went straight to Clipper City Imperial Stout. morrdt (608), Jacksonville, Florida, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Mar 11, 2007 Bottle. I have to say that I was shocked. I really liked the taste of this one. Tastes of blueberries and orange. Nice color; smooth finish, a better than expected beer. Funknmilla (603), Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 1.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 2/10 | 1/5 | 4/20 | May 24, 2007 12 oz bottle...cloudy golden color, a typical wheat by just the appearance alone, nice fluffy white head...then...smells like lemon fruit loops....tastes thin and artificial...the finish is how I believe mold would taste, or rotting lemon rind, the worst wheat beer I’ve ever tasted!!...only thing this beer has going is the fun aroma spikester (602), Salem, Oregon, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Mar 31, 2009 Cloudy gold with a one finger white head and some lacings. Aroma is citrus. Taste is wheat beer with a fresh lemon wedge squeezed into it. Pretty refreshing drink for a warm day. Should probably be served ice cold for best results.
