Incredibly fruity aroma, like a somewhat sweetened tropical fruit punch with plenty of herbal hops - I guess that’s the coriander - unique. Love that taste - less of the tropical fruit, yeasty sweet malt, plus plenty of those unusual hops - well balanced, not as sweet as you first assume based on that first sip. Mouthfeel is creamy, sweet yet acidic, lightly carbonated, the taste lasts a while - I"m not sure I’d have this very often, but it’s the most memorable American Wheat I’ve had. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is orange and apricots, some malts and floral, perhaps some blueberry. A light to medium bodied wheat beer. Malts are very fruity and sweet, lots of orange, apricots, berries and coriander. Hops are floral. Lively carbonation. Some lemongrass character here as well. Very thirst quenching. Clean and crisp. Nice summer beer, drink half a six pack on the front porch on a warm Tuesday Night. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is sweet. jerc (3936), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Orangey body with a creamy white head. Very orangey, lightly yeasty aroma and flavour. Sort of an artificial note to the orange flavour. Light spice presence? Average palate. Pretty decent for a ball park beer. My Grady Sizemore bobble head gave it the nod. 6/3/6/3/12

| 2.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 9/20 | Nov 18, 2006 This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a medium sized head of foamy white colored bubbles that were mostly lasting and left behind a very hazy softly carbonated and a good lacing. The mild aroma was malty and wheat. The smooth mouth feel was weakly tingly at the start and at the finish malty aftertaste. The weak flavor contained notes of malt and wheat. An OK brew just nothing special. Braudog (3767), Dayton, Ohio, USA

Thought the flavor was primarily orangey ... think folks who like a slice of fruit with their beer would enjoy this very much ... and even I, who usually doesn’t, found this to be a nice light drinker with a fruity twist. One of the better Leinie offerings, actually. Rciesla (3700), Exit 15W, New Jersey, USA
