Bottle. Pours cloudy pale yellow with a white head. Nose is odd. Kind of smells like it’s laden with artificial fruits, grains and yeast. Once I tasted it, it reminded me of blueberry or gooseberry. Soft fruit tartness, yeast, wheat notes and mild spice. Bit of lemon. Body is light and bubbly. Soft yeast through the end with more fruit tartness and berry notes mixed with citrus and grains. Different, but drinkable.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Southwood Publix - 12 oz bottle - light orange, hazy appearance with a soft, pillowy white head, leaves good lacing. Fruity, bubble-gum like aroma with hints of fresh bread dough. Flavor has some muted citrus notes, some yeast, hints of bread dough and a bit of artifical banana. Decent sticky mouthfeel. Overall not bad - glad to see this in the grocery stores - perhaps will start to see more from them - good alternative from the macros (even though technically it is - (Miller))

Draught at Old Chicago in Coralville, IA. Attractive cloudy yellow color with bubbly white head that laced the glass. Fruity, buttery aroma with a touch of coriander. Actually smelled like a combination of blueberries, raspberries, and oranges. Flavor was also fruity and wheaty. Slightly sweet. I thought this was going to be a blueberry wheat. Bzzzzz, wrong. Decent beer, though.

I had this tonight from the bottle and it wasnt too bad. Tastes like what Blue Moon wishes it was. It is does have some pretty strong orange flavor and I think I could taste some coriander. A bit too sweet, but decent.

Chicago trip. Tuesday 12:15. Tap at Old Chicago by O’Hare. Dark yellow orange. Froth holds the side of the glass. No fruit added to the pint. Orange citrus aroma. Sharp orange flavour. Nice body. Very refreshing and quaffable. A bit tart in the finish.

Bottle. Strong orange/lemon-lime and wheat aroma. Lightly cloudy orange-yellow color with moderate head. A strong berry-orange flavor (like Fruit-Loops). An average American wheat that’s heavy on the fruit side.

In the bottle from MacDoogles in Pineville AR. Pours an orange-gold color with a chunky white head and huge carbonation bubbles. Aroma is awesome of passion fruit! The taste is citrus, much like a shandy. Lemon-lime. Has a medium sweetness. This is surprisingly a good beer. The body is thin like all Leine’s, but tasty.

This looks good enough and could pass for a good wheat beer. It has substantially more wheat than the honey weiss; but is a little thinner. The aroma has a lot of citrus and so does the flavor. But there is also a strange sweet flavor and just makes this beer not work. It is sour, and even more so with the citrus, but it is trying to run the middle ground between hefeweizen, wit, and crappy American wheat and the result is a beer that nearly works, but not quite.
