I thought this was better than its average rating (currently 2.97). Nicely hazy orange/yellow with a sizable yellow head, it has a distinctly apricot quality, most sweet with a tang that only hangs around for the first couple of sips. Quick finish, but easy drinking with fruitiness (orange and apricot, baby) and only a hint of spice (just like a mild fruit bread). Reasonably well supported body, moderately frothy carbonation. Decent summer beer. It probably suffers in ratings from the reputation of Leinenkugel’s as something of a "aspiring lower middle class" person’s beer.

Not bad, has a bit of a fruit loop flavor to it, with some interesting orange ctirus rind and corriander flavors. A bit of that wheaty yeasty flavor, but that is mostly in the background and unrecognizable.

This was kind of odd. It looked like a wheat, but the aroma was blueberry, banana, bubblegum, and licorace. The flavor was pretty much the same, with the licorace and blueberry being more pronounced. There was very little "wheat" character. In fact, I thought it may have been a fruit beer. On tap, Barley’s, Knoxville.

12 oz bottle from Cheyenne, WY; nose is citrus, and grape, along with some wheatiness; hazy urine yellow with a medium yellowish head; my snifter looks like a urine sample cup with this in it! flavor of sweeteness with light citrus and Trix cereal flavors (maybe that’s what they flavored it with, Trix contains wheat). Not a great wheat! Tastes more like some alco-pop beer for girly-men!

Cloudy yellow body with a small white head. Sweet lemongrass and spice aroma. Strong lemon flavor with some light spice.

This aroma and taste are fruity with malt. The appearance is interesting. The palate is thin but ok. I like this beer even though it’s a tad thin.

The beer leaps from the 12-ounce bottle a fuzzy lemon yellow with a portly creamy white head that lingers long, finally, the lace gets to put on its show with a nice coating of lace. Nose has a nice fresh wheat bread aroma, sweet with a citrus like crispness, a touch of orange peel, with a lemon twist. Start has a mild wheat presence; a trace of bitterness at the back, top is light to middling in feel. Finish has steady acidity with the mild hops adding a bit of twang, somewhat sweet and certainly dry aftertaste finishes the beer, a nice refreshing beer.

Hazy, lemony yellow-gold, great label. Blueberry/citrus wit aroma. Doughy, blueberry and tangerine flavor with muted black pepper. Watery body, tangy finish with more fruit. Medium sweetness, not very bitter. Winking Lizard, Cleveland on a very snowy night.
