bottle - Pours cloudy orange with a thin head. This one has a very assertive citrus aroma. The carbonation is light and the body medium, combining for a pleasant mouthfeel. The flavor is sweet with strong citrus notes and tastey spices. Sunset Wheat is an interesting and refreshing wheat beer. I enjoyed it.

12oz bottle. overwhelming smell. reminds me of those fruit shark snakcs when i was a kid. and i mean that in the best way possible. surprisingly easy to drink unlike other leinie fruit beers (apple spice and berry weiss). the best of the three, though this is an american wheat. cant really taste the wheat. pretty strong orange taste to it. the beer seems to be blowing up in the midwest now. solid beer.

Pours cloudy orange with lingering white head. Aroma of yeast, wheat, lemon and orange. Flavor is strong wheat upfront but finishes nicely with orange and lemon. Bit of a mild lemon zest and orange rhine aftertaste. Will be one of my top summer brews.

Going out on a limb on this one to say that I liked it. Slight haze medium wheat colored with thin head. Nose is very sweet with hint of citrus. Flavor is also sweet on a medium body. Here’s the kicker: Tastes very much like Fruity Pebbles (tm). Luckily, I really like FP but would never have guessed that it could work in a beer; it worked for me, but might not for you. Give it a try anyway.

Hazy, golden yellow color. Looks and smells like pineapple juice. Also smell of flowers and kool-aid. Tastes sweet and some grain. Little bitter at the end. Its actually really good. It tastes like blue moon ice cream. Good beer for the lady in your life.

Poured a hazy light golden color with white head. Aroma of a freshly peeled orange. Flavor was orange, wheat, malts, and a slight hop bitterness at the finish. Had this refreshing brew after a long day at the beach, I think that is what it was made for.

Picked this up for my wife... Cloudy pale yellow with fizzy white head. Moderate carbonation. Aroma is initially apricot, but then becomes more like blueberry. There is also some corrainder spice as well. Flavor is sweet and has a lot of orange and berry flavors with some subtle spice in the background. The finish is tangy orange, but a little thin with some alcohol peaking through. Overall this beer was quite enjoyable (my wife even thought it was pretty good and she doesn’t really like beer!) and another solid brew from good ole Leine’s... 12 oz bottle, $1.49 from Bigg’s.
