Pours to a very unfiltered straw colored body with a dense but thin lasting white head. The aroma is white bread, light bubblegum, lightly tart wheat. The flavor is white bread, light bubblegum, subtle spices. Some tartness exists on the palate. Well carbonated, chewy but not gritty. Medium bodied. Very serviceable.

A very nice competitior to Blue Moon. The flavour is very natural tasting and smooth. A better option than Moon for those who can get it. The price can’t be beat. I must admit that despite my like for this beer it is best to mix and match as the sweetness can really get to you.

I was a little leary when my buddy brought this over. I always thought leinie’s was okay back in the day, but that was before discovering the complexity of better craft brews. Plus, it’s never a good thing when a macro company (Miller) buys your out. Well, I was still interested in this as the wheat/hefe style has really grown on me. Pours a cloudy yellowish orange. Looks the part. Smell is some banana, orange, clove. I taste the orange, more than the banana, and a peppery finish. Interesting, and because of that I will give this beer its props. I would say it has some witbier qualities. Not bad, better than average, which is a good thing for Leinenkugels.

Cloudy orange with a small white head. Aroma of yeast and citrus. Taste is similar with tastes of orange, wheat, hops, and coriander. It finishes clean and crisp without too much carbonation. As a macro, I found Sunset Wheat to be light and refreshing.

Addendum--on tap @ the Miller Brewery in Milwaukee. It smells and tastes exactly like Fruity Pebbles. I would like Fruity Pebbles for my breakfast tomorrow now. 12oz bottle, no date. Pours a cloudy dark straw with a moderate white head. Aroma of ripe oranges--almost too sweet. Tastes of ripe oranges and artificial orange flavor and then fades into a wheaty finish. Thin body, moderate carbonation. I find this beer to be in between a Blue Moon (which everyone hates) and an American Wheat (which is usually a nondescript "mah" beer). Most people I?ve talked to think this is great. Also, most people I talk to aren?t like most ratebeerians. Not too badat all.

Pretty good wheat beer. The one reason I like this so much is that it tastes a lot like the cereal fruity pebbles. Weird at first but very refreshing.

Draft at Malt and Vine. This is kind of a deadly little session beer. They’re really not kidding about the oranges thing. Pours cloudy bright medium amber/orange. Dense but shallow moussy tan head. Bright citrusy, orangey nose. Creamy, ever so slightly grainy body. Nice biscuity wheaty flavors underneath a nice lightly spiced wash with sweet citrus up top. Clean, somewhat sweetish finish. This isn’t a super forceful or memorable beer but it sure would be easy to drink a bit of.

Found this beer on tap at some little out of the place country pub that you wouldn’t expect to find it. It came in draft and was a murky yellowish ale with a great citrus smell. It was served with an orange slice that didn’t really do to much for it. It was very refreshing and would be a very good thirst quencher on a hot summer day. Even my wife enjoyed it.
