Opaque tan. Spicy, brash nose - not refined but full of spice, orange. Creamy with orange and pear. Sweet and sour, like a candy. Quenching, wheat note in the finish.

Bottle from BevMo. Very sweet fruity aroma. As was written before, Fruity Pebbles. Now don’t get me wrong I like Fruity Pebbles as much as the next guy. I’m not sure if it’s good for a beers aroma. Sweet fruity flavor. Citrus, corriander, and some blueberry. Could be a fruit beer, could be a wit. Fruitier than alot of fruit beers I’ve tried. Drinkable, but not too inspiring.

Light and spritzy with a nice light citric tartness. Pours a cloudy maize with a smallish white head and decent lacing. Coriander is present but not dominant in aroma. Lemony throughout with a touch of hops at the end. Shows its ale character through resonant fruitiness. SOme peachy/apricot in there as well. A good hot summer quencher.

Cloudy yellow body, thin white head, carbonation present. Aroma was mildly citrus with a nice orange quality, some wheat like notes took the edge off of the orange. Flavor was sweeter then i would have liked almost like a fruit beer. Fruity flavors blocked any spice notes. Really refreshing and crisp body.

Bottled. Miller’s answer to Blue Moon, I suppose. Pours cloudy, a surprise in itself. A sure enough big wheaty head with some lacing, that sticks around to the end. I get an Orange Shasta smell, and since I like the smell of orange pop, I call that okay. Some of the wit-type coriander does come up, too. Taste matches the smell pretty well. A rather nice, orangey glow that by rights should put this into a fruit beer category. Any spice and hops just blend well into the overall impression. Another very serviceable lawnmower beer.

Had this on tap at the St. Patrick’s day festival in Savannah, GA down on the river. I’d never heard of this brewery before in the Greater Washington, DC area, but apparently they had a distribution network in the South (saw it at a Harris Teeter in Charlotte). Pours a cloudy golden color with a svelte, seemingly whipped, white head. Smells very sweet, caster sugar. Taste is cotton candy. Nothing else to really say, just a very sweet, creamy, cotton candy beer. I had just eaten a turkey leg so this was a fine dessert beer. Otherwise it would have been too sweet.

Cloudy pale straw color with a snow-white head and lacing. The nose has lots of orange and coriander with a hint of licorice. The flavor is the same. Light in body. Smooth in texture. Not great but not bad either.

Pale, light straw yella, hazed appearance, with a snowy white head that drifts down to a slight sheet, then a faint ring. Aroma, bright lemon and orange zest, with light spices on the side. Immediately feels just right for a witbier nose. Clean, zippy, fruity, creamy citrus with commanding coriander. Big lemon on the tongue, meringue pie, creamy and fruity, but without much substance below. Fills the mouth, but without much beyond lemon, then softly slips away. Way too much lemon in this, not even enough orange, and the spice has disappeared in the flavor. Apes the wit in aroma and looks, but chokes when it comes to the actual taste of it. too thin in body in the end, just a vapor of character. Finish diminishes behind a whisper of lemon. Drinkability misses, too, bases on the too- pointed presence of lemon, against anything else. I guess I’d drink it if I had to, but they could have done better, could have tried harder.
