Draft at the ballpark. A bit of a hazy, murky brew. This beer is true to style in look, aroma, and flavor. The aroma is a bit fruity (orange/lemon), a bit spicy, and a bit sweet. The flavor following the same lines has notes of bittersweet citrus, spicy notes, cereal grains, and a touch of sweetness (honey). All in all a nice summer beer.

Cloudy straw color with a creamy, small white head. Blueberries, coriander, and mild orange peel in the aroma. A touch to perfumy in my book. Lightly acidic with a touch of wit. Quite fizzy, but appropriately quenching. A cross between an american wheat and a wit. A bit sweet and fruity for me. A wit version of the Berry Weiss IMO.

On tap at On Tap Pub. The beer is a hazy light amber/orange color with a thin off-white head. Minimal lacing throughout. The aroma is akin to Fruity Pebbles. Light-bodied and smooth with sweet fruit and spice flavors, along with a bit of wheat. The finish is sweet with a mild clove aftertaste. Not as sugary sweet as the aroma would lead you to believe but still just an average beer.

Hazy brown/orange, short white head, nice lacing. Aroma is fruity, spices - some nutmeg, which I don’t care for. Body is not very thick, but a nice amount of flavor - wheaty tang, orange juice, spices, an almost ginger bite. Not one of my favorites, but it is refreshing on a hot summer day.

Draught: Very sweet aroma. Smelled of cotton candy, bubble gum, blue berries, and a little spice. Poured a straw color with a small white lacing that diminished quickly. Cloudy. Flavor was a little sweet and not at all bitter. Tasted of bubblegum, blueberries, lemongrass, and ginger. No wheat, hops, or coriander in the flavor. Really would have benefited for more spices. Light body. Thin texture. Soft carbonation. Medium-length sweet finish. Overall, tasted like Three Floyds Bubblegum Head without the body.

Tallahassee, Fl. - Southwood Publix - 12 oz bottle - light orange, hazy appearance with a soft, pillowy white head, leaves good lacing. Fruity, bubble-gum like aroma with hints of fresh bread dough. Flavor has some muted citrus notes, some yeast, hints of bread dough and a bit of artifical banana. Decent sticky mouthfeel. Overall not bad - glad to see this in the grocery stores - perhaps will start to see more from them - good alternative from the macros (even though technically it is - (Miller))

Bottle... Hazy, pear-colored ale with a small, creamy, white head. Fruity nose... tropical fruits mostly. Not your typical hefeweizen. Odd nose, even for an American wheat, but very nice. No banana or spice. The flavor is tangy, but even more sweet. Fruity, breadsy, perfumey. Light to medium-bodied with lively carbonation. Finishes crisp and lightly tart. Thanks go out to MilkmanDan for bringing the bottle down from Minnesota!

Draught pint at some swill bar in Boston, can’t remember the name, on 3/30/07
Moderately cloudy straw-gold body has a fair amount of white head that steadily fizzles to partial cover, leaving little/no lacing.
Smooth and somewhat soothing in the nose, with some perky acidity from the coriander and a strong overtone of blueberry. Dosent smell "thin" or washed-out, however and there actually seems to be some fairly strong malt(ed wheat) character here. The blueberry is a bit persistently annoying and I dont see the point to it. It seems to cheapen the aroma and disturb the dryness that the coriander tries to create. Some light vanilla and mild citric notes on the finish. No alcohol and not flawed.
The wheat washes over the palate with a solidly chewy texture and light twang. Almost a toasted note as well, followed by smooth vanilla and creamy wheat flavors. Carbonation isn’t overdone and everything seems pretty manageable, BUT for the blueberries. It’s seems cheap and disruptive to the other flavors, not adding any balance (the beer is already sweet enough), nor adding any crispness (it’s a rather cheap, sugary blueberry flavor). Interesting, but I’ll take a hoegaarden or allagash white (which can usually both be found at a bar this would be at) long before I’d take this.
