Jan 6, 2007 This was surprisingly enjoyable. It came cloudy orange with a red tint and a slight white head. Smells of citrus, lemon/orange peel. The taste is like Trix cereal, biscuity with a candy-like orange flavor. Very refreshing. Weighs nicely on the tongue and feels great in the mouth. This would be perfect for a sunny day out on the porch.

Nov 15, 2006 This is my favorite American wheat beer, higher than Boulevard wheat even. I like the taste, aroma, finish and feeling of drinking a northern sunset in a bottle.

Dec 24, 2006 This to me, this is a very drinkable beer. There are many flavors involved, kinda fun to pick them out. This beer is easy drinking & something you can have more than one or two at a bar without getting tired of it, {a far better option than choking down multiple Bud Lights}

Jun 30, 2007 Updated: Dec 29, 2007Pours a hazy orange with a small white head. Aroma is very similar to fruity pebbles. Flavor is some malt but mainly citrus. A little watery on the finish but overall a fantastic change of pace from the norm.

Jul 12, 2007 Leinies definitely likes to experiment and once again they score with their Sunset Wheat. Very aromatic and I found it pleasing to smell. Very orangish-yellow with a nice foamy head. Left a nice lace.
Unique taste and the more I tasted it the more I felt like I was drinking a Blueberry Muffin!!!! LOL.. now that is different. I like traditonal brews, but I also like to try something different once in a while and this was was different. If you like something different you might really like this beer. If not, steer clear.
It was lsightly sweet, light to medium body, a touch oily, average carbonation.
I enjoyed this beer quite a bit and will buy this again. Let me stress, if you like something different you might enjoy this. If your a purist (and there is nothing wrong with that at all!:) ) , you might want to steer clear.

Jun 22, 2008 I can’t get this locally and had it with a friend. I thought I detected a licorice aroma. Tasted hint of blueberry and maybe peach.
