This was an OK beer, although it’s way more of a Dunkel than a Bock. Somewhat spicy, somewhat hoppy. It’s best served a little bit warmed, and I think I only drank it from a seasonal sampler pack.

located a bottle of this in the back of my uncle’s fridge.. .I think its from last winter.. I dont’ know and neither did he. Poured a brown color w/ a small tan head that laced ok. Smells a bit light slightly sweet malty with hints of some spice. Palate is very average. Flavor was bad.. I think this brew was aged to long.. a bit vinagarry over some malt and whatever not much worth a rating but I don’t think I’m going to get this again.

Usually only drink this when it comes in smapler packs with other Leines, but it’s not too bad. Has a little spice and flavor, but nothing exceptional.

A mediocre lager. Drinkable but unmemorable in taste or aroma. A bit heavier in palate than other Leines (that is, less watery). They say this is bock?! Their brewmasters need to get out and try some real German bock. This aint anywhere close.

I am not familiar with other winter lagers. However, this is a decent entry for Leine’s. Would like a bit more flavor of hops and spice.

Not all that fantastic of a winter brew, but palatable. Once again, I'm not too into winter brews, but they are a nice heavier beer to try every now and then.

Somewhat lacking for a winter seasonal. Spicy, but not spicy enough. Hoppy, but not hoppy enough. I tend to agree with others when I say that it needs more to be considered warming.

A good brew for a winter brew. The fuit and spice was not as prevelant/overpowering as in other Christmas/Winter brews I’ve had. Hops were present in the finish. The beer has some kick too.
