Oct 26, 2002 MOre of a dunkle than a bock. Dark brown color with a lighter head. Flavors of darker malts with a slight hops kick. Now as I think of it more of a schwartz beer. Decent, but nothing inspiring.

Oct 18, 2001 On the right track; needs to be thicker, richer, perhaps more concentrated. Needs that little ’oomph’ to make it warming. Great flavor already present to some degree.

Sep 21, 2001 Leiney’s beers tend to be good but never great and this is consistent with the rest of them. Some decent roastiness and hops, but doesn’t have the depth of good darks.
