Oct 26, 2002 MOre of a dunkle than a bock. Dark brown color with a lighter head. Flavors of darker malts with a slight hops kick. Now as I think of it more of a schwartz beer. Decent, but nothing inspiring.

Sep 21, 2001 Leiney’s beers tend to be good but never great and this is consistent with the rest of them. Some decent roastiness and hops, but doesn’t have the depth of good darks.

Jul 1, 2003 Not all that fantastic of a winter brew, but palatable. Once again, I'm not too into winter brews, but they are a nice heavier beer to try every now and then.
