A Mes rate. Draught at ZBF.
A cloudy pink-red colour with a think baby pink head. Very very fruity and fresh on the nose, maybe a little syrupy but all the fruits work really well. Sadly the flavour is nothing like as good. Pretty rough all round. Not overly sugary thankfully but there is something vegetal and herbal about it that I really don’t like. Shame, the aroma was really pleasant.

Bottle. Hazy dark red with thin disappearing head. Aroma of unidentifyable berries. Pleasant carbonition which gives it a thirst quenching quality. Taste of what I presume is the grenade apple is overwhelming, berries more in the background. Although this beer is not bad, I’m not a fan.

Sampled at Zythos 2009. Sweetly fruit. Blend of cherry/strawberry on aroma. “Mixed fruit punch with vodka” according to Sim. Not good.

(Bottled) Hazy rubyish red with a small, pinkish head. Dryish aroma of asparagus, blueberries, and red currants. Flavor of ashtray, cherries, asparagus, and some wheat. Light to medium body with lowish carbonation. Ummm... I suppose this is not quite what they aimed for. Yes, it is pleasantly non-cloying, but the asparagus and ashtray are not very tempting.

Bottle 75cl.
Unclear medium red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, white to light pink red head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, grain, dusty, moderate fruity - berry, grenade apples. Flavor is moderate sweet, light acidic and bitter with a average to long duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is soft. [20081011]

Draught: Poured a ruby red color with a pink head. The aroma is very berry. The taste was full of berries and reminds me of mountain berry koolaid.
