| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Feb 27, 2008 250 ml bottle. Mahogany with a ruby red hue. Clear. Very tall fluffy light beige head. Interesting plummy and wheaty aroma. No hops to be identified. Feels a little dry in the nose, but there is still a lot of dried fruit. Some esters from Belgian yeast. Crisp carbonation. Definitely a clean hop bitterness, which nicely balances the dried fruit and leathery flavours. Medium-bodied. Nice and rounded. Clean dry hop bitterness. Different, but very nice. Hyvä Pekka! Strange brew! Sour aroma and flavour - "belgian". The roasted wheat is appealing. Interesting beer. But Pekka was even more impressive!
