Aroma of caramel and pine hops. Redish in color with an off-white head that sticks around even though in thins out. I taste caramel and apple but after that a stronger hoppy pine flavor comes out. Lively carbination, medium body, slightly creamy and a metallic finish. Thanks to Odeed for this bonus bottle.

Deep amber color with a white, quickly dissipating head. Nice malty flavor. Not very hoppy at all. Guess I was confused by the name. But good. Very good.

i thought this was one of the better beers of the day at the barleys beer festival 2005. not over the top but mucho flavor. huge hop punch that clung to my palate after several beers with no cloying aftertaste. good malt back bone to rest on. nobody was even at this tent

Dark red ale with creamy tan head. Nutty aroma and a full creamy feeling aroma. Very nice aroma. Fairly full creamy malt feeling. Clean toasty malt flavors with a nice medium strength hop flavor that is somewhat undecernable. Nice balance and a somewhat smokey feel.

Pours a dark copper ruby with a huge, frothy, off-white head with lots of lacing. Aroma has a sugary candy hoppy presence with a touch of pine. Body starts lightly sugary sweet turning more caramely, dry, and hoppy toward the finish. Too sugary and candy-like without enough viscous malty presence.

Poured a reddish amber color with a huge rocky light tan head. Earth hop aroma with light malt behind it. Lightly sweet and fruity malt with a medium bitter finish. Light to medium bodied.

22oz bottle from the cellar @ 58.5° and served in my NB worthy glass. Amber ales tend to not do a lot for me. Pours amber with a sand colored head. Nice aroma, there are some hops in this beer! Piney hop aroma with some malt backing. The flavor is very piney and herbal hops with a fair amount of bitterness that is held back from being too bitter by the caramelly malt. India Amber Ale? Those crazy Californians! Anyway, the hops flavor is nice, as is the malt flavor, I wouldn’t say it’s balanced because it leans towards the bitterness, but this is very enjoyable. Nice mouthfeel too. Thanks to Odeed for throwing this in, I never would have asked for an Amber Ale, so I am glad he picked it out.

22oz bomber-thanks to Odeed for this as a bonus beer in a recent trade. pours a crimson amber hue with a froathy white head. piney, carmely, sweet aroma with notes of toasted bread, and earthy hop notes as well. the flavors turn more dry in the finish-I guess Cascade, EKG and Chinnok hops. for an amber ale, the body is decent and pretty full. I was expecting more hop flavor with a beer that has "3 hops" in the name. slightly salty note in the finish-must be from basin water? Im calling this Arrogant bastard lite.
