Beer pours gold with golden amber body and thin white head. Aroma is slightly sweet with a hint of maize/rice. Flavour is quite sweet with some honey notes and some grassiness in there with a slight bittering finish. Perfect for a hot singapore day. lgklotet (420), Singapore, Singapore

Perfectly drinkable, although I think the heat helped out a bit here. Lacks that metallic note that ruins so many pale lagers. rosenbergh (956), Helsinki, Finland

Sweet grassy malty aroma. Sweet malty flavour with some grassy and rice notes. Boring but nothing really wrong with this. TerenceHua (87), , Singapore
| 1.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 2/5 | 3/10 | 2/5 | 4/20 | Mar 7, 2009 A thin beer. Light malt and hops aromas and flavours. Hint of fruits - you must be really on the alert to detect it. Overall, it’s thin and crisp. Nothing to shout about. Just an average Thai Beer. Saving grace is its nice sweetness. Scratches the palate for some strange reason. Capa (993), Yokosuka, Japan

My favorite Thai beer probably because it is the cheapest by far in Thailand and the taste is not too different from Singha or Chang. Pours like a pale lager (unremarkable) with aromas of light malt, grass, and rice. Finish is dry. Overall nicely balanced- not too bitter, sweet, or acidic. Not fantastic but then again, Asian lagers are typical lackluster. Might as well stay economical.
