[Tasted locally at someone Koh-islands.] A good fresh thirstkiller, good for some spicy food, but not as good as Tiger.

Bottle. Pours a clear yellow colour with a small white head. Malty grassy aroma with hints of corn. Sweet malty flavor with hints of corn and some grassy hints. Sweetish malty finish with some weak hint of bitterness in the aftertaste.

(Can) Malty, maize (corn) and fruity aroma. Pale yellow colour, clear and white, small to average size, very slightly lasting head with fair lacing. Malty, fruity and maize (corn) flavour. Lively carbonated, slightly watery and light to medium-bodied palate. 29/12/06

Can. Very pale and clear with a white head. Doesn’t tastes much, maybe some grass. Very low key like other lagers from southeast Asia. Short aftertaste.

For the new change of Leo beer it’s good enough compare with the price. I think it’s the good choice in mainstream beer in Thailand.

Very pale gold colour with a very bubbly head, a few grassy hops in the aroma, a weakish dry palate and a clean.. slightly bitter finish. Much like singha, sadly as good as it gets in terms of Thai beers.

Bottle 50cl. Poures rich clear gold with a frothy white head that doesn’t last. The aroma is perhaps the best thing about this beer - nutty and malty, more so than a standard asian (or any commercial) lager. The flavour lets it down - watery, with some weak maly hops. The aftertaste is similar, perhaps with a hint of caramel. This isn’t a good beer, though I would choose it over most Asian beers - ie Chang.

had this in a bottle chiang mai, thialand...with a mug full of ice. that’s the way those thais do it. corn sweet adjunct textures, slight wisp of vegetative bitterness. typical for the region and style.
