yespr (6943), Copenhagen O, Denmark Oct 12, 2008 75 cL bottle, courtesy of chris_o. Pours clear and golden yellow with a collapsing white head. Mild caramel malty to a dense phenolic yeasty aroma. Mild yeasty flavoured to a distinct hoppy flavoured base, good example of hops and belgian yeast going along a nice balance. Lasting yeasty and mild hoppy finish. ashot (2), Ontario, Canada does not count Oct 10, 2008 finally found and bought in beer planet, brussels. 0.75l bottle (it only comes in big bottles), great amber beer with bitter hoppy aroma. i would rate Lupulus higher compare to the first creation - La Chouffe. Should’ve get more bottles… CafeeOndineke (27), Aalst, Belgium Sep 19, 2008 75cl bottle, light amber, aroma is hoppy, taste is bitter, hoppy, spicy with a hint of thym and walnut. dry bitter aftertaste, welbalanced and complex enough to become another big beer like la chouffe from brewmaster Pierre Gobron! Yummy, another bottle please.. :-) mabel (1673), Toronto, Ontario, Canada Aug 9, 2008 [1425-20080531] Bottle. Bit of grainy seaweed and lightly spiced old citrus peel aroma. Hazy, medium orange brown body with a medium-lasting foamy grey head. Grainy corn and a bit of citrus in the flavour, somewhat bland. Medium body is astringent. Fair.

Clear peach-amber-yellow color, good cloudy head, lace. Aroma of dry hops, crispbread and wood. Sweetish malty with almost pilsner-like malt base, peppery with gentle bitter hops. Warming alcohol finish. Nice tickling hoppyness in the aftertaste together with balancing sweeter flavors. Aroma was not promising, but flavourwise enjoyable and extremely balanced.
