Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of caramel, as well as light notes of alcohol and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish.

Bottle @ Chris_o shindig 2007. Clear medium brown red color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white to light brown head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, brown sugar. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average to short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft.

Bottle at Chris_o Shindig. Very deep brown with thin beige head. Brune aroma. Bit fizzy, decent enough. Choccy, reasonably good. Nice smooth finish.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Reasonably attractive dark brown colour with a slight off white head. Sweet malt aroma, fairly dull. Heavy caramel flavour, more malt and some light chocolate notes. Late bitter / sour note makes it pleasing to drink.

Burgundy reflections come across the dark brown body. Fair off-white head lasts atop it all. Earthy, caramelly and sugary nose hides a metallic component that becomes more obvious in mouth where the maltiness takes an interesting date-like twist. Rather expanding carbonation feels airy. Sweet and filling flavours with a definite liquorice reminding trait.

Bottle at Chris_o’s "smash Kook’s granny tasting". Alround rating: Darker sweet sugary malt, belgian fruity esters off the yeast, far too sweet and over carbonated.

Bottle. Sweet, lightly caramelly start, slightly grainy mouthfeel. Some light yeastyness, and quite soft in the mouth. NOt a whole lot happening, but seems quite clean and pleasant.
