Bottled. Dark brown colour, not much head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, slight alcohol and dark fruits. Flavour is sour dark fruit, toffee and caramel. Long sweetish aftertaste. Some spices are present in the aftertaste.

Bottled - Chris O shindig 2007 - A dark brown, almost black coloured beer with some tan pools of head. The aroma is dark fruits such as raisins, and bredy malts. It has a Belgian nose. The taste is fruity with more raisins. Lacks body but it’s drinkable enough.

Medium to good yellow head; deep amber-chestnut colour. Roasted, roasted chestnuts or oats, duckfat. Roasted taste, caramel, but not cloying; ending a bit nutty. Little sticky MF all the same, rather well-bodied. Not too sweet which is good.

Brown with a lasting light brown head. Malty aroma with some plum. Big sweet, fruity, malty flavour with a rich and deep malt character. My first beer at the Chris_O shindig, and a great way to start the day.

Burgundy reflections come across the dark brown body. Fair off-white head lasts atop it all. Earthy, caramelly and sugary nose hides a metallic component that becomes more obvious in mouth where the maltiness takes an interesting date-like twist. Rather expanding carbonation feels airy. Sweet and filling flavours with a definite liquorice reminding trait.

Bottle@chris_o. Light chocolate with malts and a hint of molasses. Brown color, beige head, good lace. Sweet, chocolate, malty, light bitterness. Very drinkable and flavorful, not complex but nice.

A Mes rate: 50cl bottle at Chris O’s Shindig. Reasonably attractive dark brown colour with a slight off white head. Sweet malt aroma, fairly dull. Heavy caramel flavour, more malt and some light chocolate notes. Late bitter / sour note makes it pleasing to drink.

Bottled. A dark brown beer with a thin tan head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of caramel, as well as light notes of alcohol and spices. The flavor is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel, leading to a lightly bitter finish.
