Aroma is roasted malty, light fruity and subdued yeast phenolic. The phenols come through stronger in the flavour from back of the tongue. Smooth fruity and light bitter flavoured with a nice roasted malt base. Lingering fruity finish. fiulijn (7150), Como; Lausanne (CH); Malmö (SWE), Italy
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Mar 5, 2008 Draught at the brewpub Hazy amber color. It has a light aroma of caramel, sugar and fruits. Medium body structure with some caramel aroma; here again there is too much bitterness (I mean, yesterday I had a good American Barley Wine, I like my hops, but here they are out of place); overall, a mediocre (or poor) homebrew. | 2.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Feb 12, 2008 draught - clear reddish-amber colour with little foam left; aroma of caramel and cane sugar; medium-bodied and very sweet; aftertaste of red fruits marmelade - sweeties-like malt profile and simplistic but without evident flaws, that^s already a big success ...
