Yellow mead with a nice fruity honey aroma. In mouth, a filed of cloves with nice white wine, Cabernet, dry and smooth. Glass at Bieres et Saveurs, Sept. 2, 2006.

200 ml bottle purchased at SAQ Terroirs d’Ici, Montreal, sometime in 2005, served somewhere between cellar and fridge temperatures in a La Face Cachée de la Pomme tasting glass. Very very light blonde body reminiscent of a lighter white wine leaving faint traces in the glass as it pours, no head, totally still and oily-thick....rustic floral tart honey-vanilla aroma, plenty of alcohol but not distressingly rough....the body, as has been mentioned before, is quite wine-like, not really syrupy at all unlike virtually every mead I’ve had, but instead quite dry and acidic, plenty of alcohol which is a bit too medicinal/bandaid reminiscent for my tastes, but sweetened just enough and with a faint earthy-mineralic quality that does some good for the drinkability of this....an interesting effort, and I’m not a mead expert enough to really know what to make of it, except that I rather like it and appreciate its difference.

Robe blonde très pâle et très claire. Arômes de vin blanc et d’alcool. Saveurs de miel effacé et de vin blanc.

Clear w/ a very slight syrupy haze & light yellow tinge. Notes of honey, melon & pepper on the nose. Light, mildly syrupy feel. Sweet honey flavour w/ some fruity notes. Finish is slightly acidic--similar to a dry, peppery white wine.

Really a fruit wine. Honey in alcohol, fermented. Not much of a true mead, as in spices mellowing over time. taste like white wine mixed with honey.

200 ml bottle. Clear transluscent color with a bit of yellow. Aroma of honey and leather, some alcohol too but it’s not very noticeable. Subtle flavor of honey, it’s slightly tart and fruity. Very light body. Not bad but it’s my first mead and I was hoping for more than that.
