750ml corked bottle decants a shimmering copper-red ale with a massive sticky meringue off white cap that will support a dime...good retenetion and great lacing of the glass...lots of protein in this one. Aroma is almost perfect for style; biscuity malts, light caramel mustiness, herbal woody nobles..clean ...great smelling alt. Lots of biscuit malt and some caramel malts balanced off perfectly with Spalter "bite" and tettnanger herbal bittering...some nutty-tobacco tones...dryish finish with great biscuity after taste in balance with noble bittering. A great alt from what is becoming the best craft brewer of German styles in Canada.. bravo LTM this Alt is authentic, flavorful, satisfying and very drinkable.

Bottle shared with Quevillon. The color is reddish brown with a beige head and lace. The aroma is very malty and sweet fruity. The taste is of malt also with a bitter heavy dry taste. The 5 % alcohol seemed to me higher. This is a very good example of an Alt. beer, bravo Mousquetaires.

Clear amber body with a medium beige head. Bready malts with some woody notes, slightly roasted nuts wrapped in luscious caramel and a touch of smoke. Lots of grassy hops balance it off and provide a mild bitterness. Smooth body and a lively carbonation. For about a year it was only available on tap. The tap pint I had a year ago was simply exquisite with its additional fruity complexity (4.0 / 5). Now it was released in 750ml bottle. Not quite as exquisite as the old tap version with still a top notch session Alt. Makes me happier than a kitten with a Q-tip.

Bottle shared with mds, HogTownHarry, blankboy and tupalev - mds’s bottle. Clear orange-amber with a small off-white head. Aroma is nice and malty, with some biscuit and toffee notes. Medium bodied. Flavour is full and balanced, with caramel malt and a very nice nuttiness, and hints of tobacco and coffee. Excellent.

Bottle Shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, courtesy of Hogtown Harry. Brown pour, decent sizzed white head. Really nice aroma - dusty, malt, some fruit - good. Good taste right on style - very dry malt, some good amount of subtle hops. Very drinkable. One of the best Alt’s I’ve had, I’d love to have this again.

Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry & tupalev -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a clear deep orange-ruby with a large mostly-lasting off-white head. Aroma is biscuity along with some honey, toasted malt, wood and a good amount of hops. Flavour’s dry and malty along with fruit and lots of herbal hops (for the style). Light to medium bodied. Very sessionable, this is one of the best Altbiers I’ve ever had. Well done.

Corked Bottle 750 ml
Appearance :Dark copper with amber body , large creamy milk like crown on top, medium fine lacing .4+
Nose :Sweet aromatic noble hop aroma , meadow flower scent , soft gently sweeten caramel malts. Very neat but not entire alt like.7+
Flavour/Palate : Now we are talking. Medium full bodied caramel with strong nutty feel. Bitter feel at sides of Schumacher alt. This one is creamier softer in body. Middle smoothly enters similar finish. As aroma palate generously rewards us with pleasures. Dark woody tavern character of old Germany. Almost flawless, wished if it was bit more assertive in its alt character. Felt a bit too soft for my licking.
