341 ml bottle from Trappe a Fromage, served at cellar temperature in a tulip glass.

App.: Bright golden with fair white head. Aroma: A fair hit of earthy coriander, some lighter lemon notes, plenty of yeast and bread dough, very light funk, a touch of esters. Palate: Medium body with fairly full effervescence. Flav.: Lighter than the nose, more wheat character, less of the coriander and yeast, a little more citrus; dry with very little bitterness and a pleasant light coriander finish.

I swear this is a Wit and not a Weisse.

pours opaque hazy pale yellow with minimal white head. Aromas of lemony wheat, and malt and spices. Taste of hops with subtle lemon, yeast, and wheat. Solid beer but not outstanding.

Bottle. Pours a very cloudy dirty yellow, provided you agitate the sediment in the last of the pour. The white head shows only brief retention. Wheaty aroma with some herbal nuances. Smells sour. Flavour is wheat with a sour vegetal character reminiscent of rhubarb. No spiciness really. Disappointing.

Cloudy beige body with a soft noisy crown floating on top, looks perfect for the style. Tons of wheat in this aroma that comes across sour/sweet depending on what second I smell it, lots of floral notes, some apple. This aroma is unpleasant for the style but overall it’s ok I guess I have smelt better that’s for sure. This has a massive wheat malt flavour with hazel nut in the finish lots floral flavours with spice and lemon. This is turning out to be a better beer then I thought it would all the right elements are here plus a very nice smooth thick mouth feel what some of hefe’s are missing. I’m also enjoying the fact its not coming across sour. Good beer.

Pours a hazy yellow with a large white head that dissipated quickly. Aroma is really quite weak. Banana, lemon, and bread yeast. It tastes nice, lemony and refreshing with notes of coriander, malt, and herb. Palate is over carbonated. Leaves a yeasty film in the finish. Meh.

Pours hazy yellow, no head. Aroma mostly of wheat and some citrus. Pretty dull.Good carbonation, a slight amount of spice on the palate. Pretty dull.

Bottle. Pours a hazy yellow, with a thin head that quickly dissipates to nothing. No lacing to speak of. Nose is wheat, malt, and lemons, with decent spiciness and some hoppiness. Palate is clean and fresh, mild lemon, yeast, wheat, clean finish. A bit thin, not inspired nor exciting.

Hazy yellow with a thick white frothy head with medium retention. Aroma is bread, malt herbal hops and a hint of spices. Flavour is raw cereals, wheat, yeast and herbs.
