| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Dec 11, 2005 Bottled: poured a hazey honey-gold color. Active carbonation and a modest cap that laces well enough. Aromas of fresh milled toasty malts and a slight wisp of cider and herbs. Peppery mouth feel medium light bodied. Malty up front then a fruity acidic decernment from yeast and hops, clean fresh finish slight after taste of bread. A very decent pislsner in the German style...propbably will be over looked or buried in the flood of pilsners on the market, too bad this is a good all malt rendition of the style.

| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 19, 2005 341 ml bottle. Very clear honey-amber, still with no bubbles, respectable snow-cap head of moderate duration...honey-jasmine nose is pleasant but like others from this brewer is muted and weak...primarily sweet body is leavened from cloying by a nice dry herbal character that shows up midpalate, with the finish both sweet and lightly bitter. Slight brackish-salty quality late as well, which I actually thing is somewhat appealing. Not too shabby. rederic (1811), montréal, Quebec, Canada
