Decent malty aroma with hoppy, herbal and bready hints. Mouthfeel is dominated by relatively intense hoppy flavors. It unfortunately lacks complexity. Leaves a good bitter aftertaste. This is quite a good surprise! BroueNeault (157), Montréal, Quebec, Canada

| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 10/20 | Nov 28, 2004 Bouteille de 341 ml. Arôme: Céréales. Apparence: Couleur paille. Bière et mousse pétillante comme un verre de boisson gazeuse. Saveur: Malheureusement je ne perçois aucune saveur en particulier, d’où sa note de 4. Palette: Légère amertume sur la langue. | 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 2/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Nov 24, 2004 Bottle. Small to average size yellowish white head, fair good lacing, mostly diminishing. Light yellow golden body, hazy (not see-through clear). Very light sweetness in aroma with light toasted. Light to moderared herbal hops aroma. In my mouth, light sweetness that disapear quickly, moderated hops and moderated (but a bit high) bitterness in final of average long duration. Medium body. Astringent finish feel. Definitively above your typical megabrew lager, rough a bit, lack finesse in my humble opinion. CapFlu (3491), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Nov 23, 2004 (Bottle) Pours a large, white frothy head and a clear, highly-carbonated amber body. The nose is of raw vegetables and tin. The flavour is of initial malt with a bitter hops finish. Fairly crisp and refreshing. Above average lager... Eyedrinkale (3209), Astoria, New York, USA
| 2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 8/20 | Nov 16, 2004 Bottle from the brewery. Pours clear apricot color with a big head that turns into nothing real quick. This doesn’t smell like anything more than a tin can. Oh for two so far. Malty taste with a dry hopness. Although Chris was generous to hook me up with his beers, none of them are drinkable in my opinion. Lubiere (4551), Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

| 2.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Oct 4, 2004 Montréal Tig is right spicy (salt n pepper), malty nose with sweet sugary fruity base. Pours creamy white head, gold. Plenty of carbonation, that overwhelms malts and that green bitterness that comes with fresh green leafs. Bittering was done the wrong way , it is not smooth and sound . It is harsh , crude type . Maybe more of good chewy malt could fix the thing, maybe.
