Bottle shared by after4ever. Dark brown with a minimal head. The aroma is lots of dark roast, chocolate, and coffee. SOme dark fruit. Lots of roast and dark fruit flavors, some alcohol, light finish. Maybe a little too boozy for me, but still pretty nice stuff here.

750ml cork and caged bottle from glouglouburp, thanks Dany. Pours a solid chocolate brown with a huge foamy beige head. Flavor of dark fruits, slight alcohol, chocolate and some licorice. Dusty aroma with notes of bitter baker chocolate, rum cake and chocolate covered cherries. The aroma was okay but the flavor was a nice step up and this is one solid beer.

Thanks to Dmac for sharing this one. Pours out dark brown, almost black with a small slightly lacing head. Aroma is some roasted malts, caramel, and some other subtle sweet notes, little weak on the aroma. Taste is complex and very well balanced. Chocolate, roast, caramel, dried fruit and maybe some coffee in there too. Extremely well balanced, top notch.

750ml from Glouglouburp - thanks, Dany! Very thick dark brown pour, with a lively carbonation that yields an active frothy head and lingering lace. More roasts in the nose than I’d expected, but not at the expense of a deep chocolate aroma. The mouthfeel is pleasantly thick, and the creamy lactic qualities complement rather than clash with the roasted malts. A trace hoppy and prickly, unlike some examples of the style. Slightly chalky finish and a lovely fruit complement to the sweet chocolate milk character. Delish!

750ml bottle, with thanks to Glouglouburp. Pours a dark brown/black with a tall foamy tan head. Nose is overripe dark fruits, chocolate, molasses, and espresso; a bit decadent which is nice. Flavor is more chocolate, espresso, and dark fruits with an enjoyable underlying roast. I’ve been looking forward to this for a long time, and it did not disappoint. Thanks again Dany!

Black colored beer that pours nice. Brown edges with a lasting light tan head. Aromas showcases an array of complex dark malt notes. Flavor is very nice, with hints of sour fruit, chocolate, coffee and truffle. Lasting finish is also impressive. Very nice beer.
