Oct 8, 2009 750 thanks to Beerlando. Pours black and opaque. Very rich creamy and delicious. Nose is roasty/burnt and malted milk. The flavor is bitter roasted malts and sweet with hints of bakers chocolate and black liquorice. A wonderful beer.

Jan 6, 2008 Bottle shared with Hogtown Harry and Blankboy, Blankboy’s bottle. Pitch black, big bubbly tan head, I’m not sure how it could look any better! Really nice aroma - strong sweet roast. Rich full body. Great taste - rich roast, lots of chocolate, lots of alcohol. Thick silky body. This is dead on style wise - great stuff, well done Trois Mousquetaires!

Oct 9, 2009 Rich, tasty, sweet with a nice finish. Chocolate and a sweet tobacco after-taste. Some Hazelnuts have join the party. I am THAT impress.....Bravo, merci milles fois. Ayoye.....ayoye....

Jan 8, 2009 Darkest pour with lots of nice head. Roasted malty aromas with sweet dark fruit and chocolate. More roasted and burnt malt flavors. Dark, dried fruit and some dustiness on the finish. Excellent Porter.

Jan 24, 2008 Bouteille de 750 ml, acheté le 19/12/07 chez Peluso (Montréal), bu ce soir. Brune rougeatre très foncée, petit collet beige que persiste. Arome de cacao cafiné doucement roti et de pain grillé avec un peu de Nutella. Gout de malte chocolaté roti, café sec en un peu amère, doucement sucré, l’alcool n’est pas trop présant. Une vrai délice!

Sep 12, 2008 750 ml bottle @ liquid sunshine tasting - thanks to after4ever for this gem; easily one of my favs from the night; dark brown, flat tan head; aromas of rich chocolate; smooth, roasty and rich, nothing off putting in any way as many baltics can be in that stale sense; thick, rich body; tons of chocolate; wow, just a kick ass baltic a not like any i’ve had before except for perhaps the one from cascade; very rich and just a delight; thanks tom!!

Jan 30, 2009 Acheté au jovi en format de 750ml et brassé à 10% par les trois mousquetaire à l’automne 2008. Dégusté dans un verre trappiste de chimay. Apparence noir extrêmement noir sans effervescence avec une belle mousse brune qui colle à la parois. Odeur de chocolat, de fumé, de raisin, de date, de canneberge avec une touche de vanille et de mélasse sans oublier le sirop d’érable. Un goût équilibré de chocolat, de caramel, de vanille, de fruits mûres et de mélasse. Le goût est absolument incroyable, une plénitude wow!

Nov 10, 2009 Pours black with a thick mocha head. Gentle aromas of roasted nut and mocha, Very full bodied, smooth, creamy, yummy chocolate and a slight fruitiness. Beautiful winter warmer. I loved it.
