Very pretty appearance. Lots of sweet malts with a spice of alcohol. Strong aroma. Some chocolate flavoring with a nice roasted coffee ground finish. Reminds me of Sunday school at the old church. This has very few flaws and is quite drinkable. punkska101 (111), Chambly, Quebec, Canada

Light molasses, caramel, chocolate note. I can smell herbacy hop. Light alcohol this one would be a nice winter warmer. The after taste is long but pleasant. I can detect dark fruit also. The nose is quite malty, with everything from toasted nuts to caramel to chocolate. The flavour is similar, with the addition of some alcohol, dried fruit and licorice. Nice body and appropriate carbonation. Solid doppelbock, and certainly as good as anything I’ve had in Canada. AtlAggie (139), Atlanta, Georgia, USA

GC meaning grand cuvee, what we ran out of room when entering the beer? Anyways, pretty nice and on the full roasted malt side of things. Reminds me much of the duck rabbit version of the style. Cocoa, slight sweetness, and a int of alcohol in the aroma. Flavor is sweet as well followed by a nice roasted malt and some chocolate flavors. A little bittersweet cocoa makes this a nice dessert beer. daknole (3025), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
