This poured well into my 50cl glass and appeared to develop a nice head I would expect from a weizen ale. While the aroma of caramel invited the first taste, I got the sense of liquor with bananas. It was okay to drink overall.

Poured a golden color with nuge head. ARoma was very wheaty something else in there a spice. Flavor was tons and tons of wheat and cloves, the banans didn’t make it through. Dry finish to it. Not bad at all.

12 oz bottle. Alcohol, wheat almost like the aroma of cheap wine. Gold body with decent head on pour but disipated at a goog clip. Apricot sweet wine flavor, stickyness and starch there also. Roasted grain for an aftertaste, must be palateable drank full glass. 6/3/5/3/11; 2.8 ; 12/17/07

Rerate 1/10/08. 12oz bottle coutesy of eaglefan538. A caramel malt aroma along with some mild fruit. Hazy gold body with white head. Flavor has some fruity banana flavor along with more dominate was the malt. Smooth for a 10% alcohol content. Decent brew from the great white north.

Bottle sampled. Pours hazy gold with a very small white head. Aroma of wheat, orange zest, bready malts, and spicy cloves. Light and smooth flavor with banana, yeast, sweet wheat, tart fruit, and light spices. A decent weizenbock.

I’m not sure why this is listed as a weizen bock since it has none of that style’s characteristics except for the wheat in the grain bill. Probably because of its strength, although I would have said it was simply a strong American wheat ale. It’s got a slightly hazy golden body with a short fizzy head. Its aroma is wheaty with light tropical fruits and the smallest hint of banana. Same with the flavor, although it has the addition of a lemony sourness, not too overpowering to be distracting. Pretty good quencher.

Pours a clear, golden honey color w/ a tall fluffy froth. Good head retention w/ excelent lacework consisting of sticky track marks, a full fluffy ring and a downy canopy. Aromas of fresh squeezed tropical fruit, aged citrus, banana jerkey, and milk. Full nectar w/ ample residual effers creatng a nice cotton soft texture. Malty citrus fruit balanced by a sturdy peachpit bittering component. Flavors of nectarine, peach, citrus, leather, earth, leafy veggies and herbs, and spicey corriander w/ a twitch of tart. Theres a defined bratty hop that factors in. It’s keeps coming at you even after you walk away from it. The finish is bittered perfectly and I want more, more, more. This brew rocks! Highly recommended.
