| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 20, 2007 (bottle0 Pours gold with a white head. Fairly strong aroma of lemon, yeast, wheat, and some spice. There’s some lemon in the taste and a nice finish of coriander and orange peel on the finish. This beer was pretty good. | 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Oct 15, 2007 This *is* a nice arrival in Minnesota. Gold color. Not quite sweet but its getting close to the sweet spectrum. Butter front, lightly, with a hoppy ending. Not a particularly lively body, perhaps the effect of imperalizing a wheat beer. Bottle. | 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Oct 14, 2007 I’m happy these guys are finally in Minnesota. A great beer and a weizenbock is always a treat. Sweet and wheaty aroma. Gold and clear colored, not much to say about the appearance. Nice white head anyway. Sweet malt flavor, more sweet wheat with some clove and light spice. Some hops; enough that you know they are there. Comparable to Hopfen, but not as as heavily hopped as that beer. | 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Oct 14, 2007 Sampled during Cellar’s Wine & Spirits Friday tasting and shared by joebrew. Pours a hazy dark copper brown brew with a thin off-white head that slowly dissolves. Aroma of multi-grain bread, some coriander, orange zest and some yeast. Taste is medium bodied, lightly carbonated with flavors of bready malt, coriander a some sour funk. Finish has a floral and semi-sweet aftertaste. dkoonce (899), People’s Republic of Athens, Ohio, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 4/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Oct 13, 2007 Copper brown and hazy, with loose head that quickly fades. Massive wheat and alcohol aroma that almost floored me. Light and smooth, with a milder wheat flavor than the aroma indicates. Very floral and fruity as well. badgerben (3605), Blaine, Minnesota, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Oct 12, 2007 New at the Cellar’s on Lex and Larp in St. Paul. Thanks to Joebrew for opening at the tasting! Dark copper color with a large head. Plenty of coriander, orange and bread on the aroma. Very bready and yeasty flavor with some spice on the finish. Did not seem like a typical weizen bock, but quite tasty. after4ever (2828), Brier, Washington, USA

Nice rich banana, lemon, and clove nose. Light wheat sour. Thickish tingly body. Lemon, banana, clove, and malt sugars swirl all the way around the palate. Clean wheat sour finish.
