A full mouthfeel that boldly hits your tastebuds, and hardly lets go. A little tart, pineapple and the wheat. Not greatly drinkable today, last beer of the day, bit could be remarkable with the right food pairing. Another well crafted beer from this brewery. joss (3685), Garching b. München, Germany

A little disappointed in this beer since I was blown away by their Doppelbock and Weizenbock varieties. Pours a hazy yellow-orange color with very little head. Alcohol and bananas are detected in the aroma. Taste is rather sharp, bananas an citrus come through but are overpowered by alcoholic heat and a sticky sweetness that leaves me quite unrefreshed...especially on a deathly humid Montreal evening. Not sure what happened here, though I still hold the brewery in high regard. DandyWolfFloyd (331), Jim Thorpe, Pennsylvania, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 2/10 | 1/5 | 7/10 | 5/5 | 14/20 | Jul 27, 2009 The aroma is faint, with a minor amount of malty and alcohol aromas, some minor coriander spice. Absolutely drab in appearance. The head is non-existent. the body is a clean mellow copper color, expected so much more. 3 Musketeers has really muted flavors, soft especially considering this an Imperial Weizen, with some farmhouse alcohol flavors, mostly some mild spice, and some oaken flavors. The beer is especially effervescent, which is surprising because it does not show up in the head. Good finish of spice and alcohol. alobar (1032), Harleysville, Pennsylvania, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Jul 19, 2009 Fierce for a wheat ale. Clear copper color with a white head. Decent lacing. Aroma of wheat, alcohol, and grain. Flavor-wheat, grain, and a touch of alcohol. Big beer for a summer beer. RichJ7 (1175), Cullman, Alabama, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 2, 2009 Hazy orange with a thin white head. Aroma is RICH and pungent: grain, citrus, honey and cognac. Flavor is sharp and tangy, mildly grainy with a nice sweetness. Bittersweet finish. Very good. vyvvy (2068), Hazelwood, Missouri, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jun 7, 2009 Pours deep orange / amber with a soapy off-white head. The aroma has citrus sourness, funky yeastiness, light bread, a hint of esters and some spice - not what I expected at all. Medium / full body with a load of semi-sharp carbonation. The flavor starts with an odd sourness, some wheat, some graininess, then there are some papery traits along with plastic and odd-funk. Not sure about this one overall, but it does hide the alcohol well. blutt59 (2165), Dallas, Texas, USA
