Bref, j’adore

The 2008 brew at 10 percent is amazing. Poured slowly, you&rsquoll see a golden nectar with not much foam although the beer is quite fizzy. Deliciously sweet and fruity with delicate bitterness. Reminds me of the famous 2004 Unibroue... Keep it up, Les Trois Mousquetaires. You make great beers. 9-5-6-5-19 ADDED: And the 2009 batch is far less interesting, being much spicyer, sour, not very bitter, close from a disaster. I’ll try another one in a few months but the one I had yesterday was the biggest deception I had from this brewer. 5-4-5-3-12

Edition 2008 a 10%. Tres bonne biere. 10% 2008 edition. 750ml bottle, splited with my parents. Intense wheat taste, medium banana ester notes and alcohol warming. Very good beer.

2007 Bottle purchased from Heritage Liquor. Poured a straw color with a little lacing, no head. Pleasant sweet and sour aroma. Flavor was unpleasantly sour and almost had a dill aftertaste??? May buy another bottle and rerate in case I happened to get a bad one.

Bottle from Champane’s Wine. Poured an hazy dark amber color with an average frothy white head that mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate citrus, fruit and spice aroma. Medium body with a sticky texture and soft carbonation. Medium sweet spicy flavor with a medium sweet finish of moderate duration. Solid drinkable beer.

Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Smell is sweet, honey, wheat, spices, apple, marshmellows, and malts. Looks a golden color with a white head. Taste is fruits, spices, marshmellows, good creamy feel.

Bottle. Lightly sweet aroma, predominately malt with wispy coriander and lemon creme and banana, touch of bubblegum and too much alcohol. Cloudy golden pour with a gleaming white head. Taste is saccharine with a flashy of grainy dryness, wheat malt with muddled spices and alcohol. Medium body edging toward full with the booze-girth. I think I’d pass the next time.

Cloudy golden pour. One finger head. Typical banana/closve aroma. Sweet flavor of ripened banana and bubblegum. A bit sweet for my taste.
