This strong wheat ale poured a hazy yellow and was topped with a fizzy but steady white cap. The aromas were quite yeasty with added spiciness and fruit (pear, apple, mango). Floral spices and sweet fruit are the initial flavours, leading into doughy yeast and fresh green leafy hops adding some bitterness to balance the sweetness. Silky finish with creamy bubbles. Quite a treat. waolsen (1224), Littleton, Colorado, USA

Pwn3d (1125), Manhattan, New York, USA

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Jun 19, 2008 My bottle said 8% abv. The body was hazy dark gold with a white head. The aroma was funky, spicy and tart. There was some definite apple. It smelled like a Unibroue made tripel. The taste was funky dry with some tart cherries. There were also some apples. Interesting.
