750ml. bottle, 2009 vintage. Dark red brown with a nice brownish head. Lots of fruity esters, cassonade and some tar dominates the aromas. Full body, alcohol well hidden, warming the throat nicely, loads of dried fruits on the palate lasting trough the finish. Really great example of a strong weizenbock. A real treat for lager lovers.

211109 Tasting with Ungdomsklubben. Pours a slightly hazy brown. Sweet and malty with hints of port. Also hints of residual sugars and fruity yeast esters towards the end. Dry and malty finish.

750 ml Bottle: Clouded chestnut brown with ruby highlights. Puffy beige cap that lasts and laces Rich and complex with flavors; cocoa, roast, berries, smoke, earthyness dried fruit, tobacco, hrbacious hopping and a long wet complex finish. Like a lighter version of a dark barley wine, Wonderful winter warmer.

Bottle, brown pour with red coming through. Aroma is choke cherries, wood, and alcohol. Taste is kind of acid, citrusy up front (grapefruit) with a slow change towards roasted malts and bitterness, barn. Long mouthfeel.

Dark ruby pour with a small beige head. Aroma of sweet malts, sherry, alcohol and an odd musty almond. The typical banana esters are nowhere to be found this seems more like a Belgian strong ale with hints of a weizenbock. Weird beer, it’s not bad it enjoyable, but to me it seems way off the style lines.

750 mL bottle. Opaque ruby-brown with a large, sticky, short-lived beige head. Large aroma of dried dark fruit (raisins, dates, prunes), dark fruit, wheat, and caramel. Flavour is huge, with the dark fruit dominating, along with licorice, alcohol, a little spice, and molasses. Solid body. A weaker cousin to Aventinus Eisbock.
