Aroma: Grainy, malty and low DMS Appearance: Light gold straw thick white head light sparkle. Flavour: Grainy, good bitterness with a light floral hop flavour. Lightly astringent but it adds to the crispness of the beer - not unpleasant. Low oxidation. Mouthfeel: Light bodied with a good carbonation character. Overall: Dry and clean malt flavours with a goodly bittering and floral hop character. Light DMS in the aroma but not overpowering. Refreshing! Thaks Ryan!

341 mL bottle via Lubiere, served almost cold in a tulip. JL20/07

App.: Clear golden, with a nice white meringue. Aroma: Lots of green, grassy, herbal hops, light cereal and biscuit. Palate: Medium body and lively carbonation. Flav.: Green, peppery hops that turns herbaceous/resinous on warming, light malt and biscuit; decent bitter finish.

Really nice, hoppy Pils!

341 ml bottle from Glouglouburp. Poured a clear gold with an average size white head. This one had a medium body and a dry crisp finish. Aroma was cereal and slight hops. Flavor was very crisp and refreshing with lots of cereal maltiness and a slight bit of hop bitterness on the finish. Very nice pils.

341ml bottle from Glouglouburp (thanks, Dany). Poured into my brand new Rodenbach Grand Cru glass that I picked up yesterday at BCTC (as well as this bottle in a trade). The beer pours a dark yellow with a big frothy head and strong and visible carbonation (bubbles shooting up). Aroma is a sweet grassy herbal and slightly syrupy pils flavors with some biscuit. Very well done, same as usual pils aromas but in a better balance with this nice syrup biscuit pils aspect. Taste is similarly herbal pils with none of the off flavors that come with a lot of bad imitations. Finishes with a hint of herbal bitterness, very refreshing and flavorful.

Lightly cloudy golden poor with a thin off-white head. Aromas of citrus, herbal, corn syrup... verry hoppy. Crisp bitterness that’s long lasting. Creamy dry finish... no sweetnes detected. Nice effervescence with added zesty flavors. High quality ingrediants for a high quality beer. A+

Fresh, leafy, grassy, lightly spicy hops complement chewy malts and a hint of diacetyl in the nose. Clear golden body is topped by a decent white head that lasts very well and laces nicely. Chewy, bread-like malts are joined by assertive yet balanced bitterness. Grassy, spicy flavours linger and a hint of butter softens everything up. Bitterness could be perhaps more crisp as this comes across as a hybrid between a German and a Bohemian Pils. Soft bubbled carbonation to the medium light body. Bottle (Trade, May-07) sampled with Oakes in June 2007. Thanks, MartinT! Later resampled without rating on tap at Benelux where stronger carbonation actually made the buttery character more pronounced. Cheers, Ryan! I’m looking forward to many more of your beers when the brewery is up and running...

A real gutsy Pilsner using plenty of spicey Saaz hops and rich German nobles mixed with some new hybrid super alphas. A real gutsy Pilsner using plenty of northern brewer hops and rich German nobles infused to give both bite and balance.Poured a true shimmering clear burnished gold color with a sticky frothy 3 finger cap that lasts and laces the glass. Aroma is excellent: rich bready pale malts in balance with herbaceous spicy hops. Medium light body with tons of flavor....big biscuity malts in the front with a rapacious dose of herbal-spicy hops to balance...finish is clean, crisp and dry with a moderate amount of residual bittering from some super alpha hopping. One of the better crafted Pils I have tasted in Canada. A hop head’s pilsner reminiscent of Victory Prima pils
